Designed by WMK Architecture, the redesigned public viewing foyer for the Australian Stock Exchange transforms a challenging multipurpose brief into a sleek, adaptable space. Sleek timber panelling and sculpted white planes contour the expansive interior, while a carefully considered lighting strategy; combining direct and indirect sources creating frames the walls and ceiling without competing with the large reporting video walls. The result is a dramatic, scalable venue with strong street presence, equally at home hosting casual meetings, official functions, media releases, or overflow from the auditorium below.
