APC Blackbutt
Renowned for its versatility, durability, and refined appearance, Australian Blackbutt is a premium hardwood sourced from the coastal forests of eastern Australia. It is commonly grown and harvested across New South Wales, Queensland, and parts of Victoria, where the temperate climate supports consistent growth and high-quality timber.
Blackbutt is admired for its clean, contemporary aesthetic and subtle natural variation. Its tones typically range from pale straw and light honey through to warm blonde and soft brown hues, often enhanced by gentle grain movement. This understated palette makes Blackbutt highly adaptable, complementing both modern and classic interior environments.
Extensively used in Australian architecture, Blackbutt is favoured for flooring, wall panelling, and joinery across residential and commercial projects. Its strength and natural fire-resistant properties have also contributed to its popularity in bushfire-prone regions, reinforcing its reputation as a practical yet sophisticated design choice.
Natural Australian Blackbutt offers designers a timeless, locally sourced timber veneer that brings warmth, balance, and enduring Australian character to any project.
